I have no enthusiasm for Thanksgiving. I have done zero shopping and I keep forgetting it's next week.

The question mental health professionals keep asking me is "what do you do for you?" And I hate it because I don't have an answer.

My circle here on bluesky is limited, so it's safer. My wife is the only family I know of that knows I'm here. Even so, sometimes posting makes me nervous.

Some of my family members will get drunk and text me apologies for things that happened to me 25+ years ago and it makes me tired and sad.

My son's friends showed up at 10 this morning and stayed for 6 hours. If this is going to happen all summer I'm going to have to up my snack game.

My oldest is turning 15 tomorrow and I'm having a lot of feelings about it.
