My 20 year old starts his police training tomorrow. Going in as constable. I'm so chuffed for him that he's doing what he wants to do and he's got his life figured out already. As a mum there's nothing better than seeing your kids smashing it 👊👊👊

Watched the new #Netflix show about how they finally caught Bin Laden. My boss has never said to me "If you feel completely overwhelmed, probably just better to kill yourself". I'll remember that the next time I have a shitty day at work.

I still can't get my head around my eldest (20) joining the police. He's a unit...6ft with size 13 feet. Remember him playing "cops and robbers" with his toy handcuffs and police helmet.

Bought my house in 2002 and my next door neighbours moved in around the same time. Just found him weeding the front of mine because "I've just done ours anyway and yours needed doing". You're lucky if you have good neighbours.

My husband just came up to me in the kitchen, gave me a long cuddle, didn't say a word the whole time and walked off. No words needed. I'm happy with the little things.

Had a lovely few days off work. Nice breakfast/lunches out. Watched movies. Sat chilling with my book. Decided housework could wait. Delegated stuff to husband and kids. Need to start doing more of this!!!

Just trudged to the shop on this dreary damp morning to get sausages for the hungry young men in this house who stayed up until 5am to watch UFC. That'll get them out of bed! Might give them another hour.

So had pelvic ultrasound yesterday afternoon. GP surgery ring this morning asking me to come in. Turns out I have endometrial hyperplasia and may need a full hysterectomy 😩
