Re: Donald Trump's America. A British journalist, John Sopel, who spent many years in the USA published a book about 10 years or so ago called "If Only They Didn't Speak English" about the relationship between the US and UK. Worth a read, on both sides of the pond. And man, am I glad I'm in the UK.

Looking at the USA at the moment is making my head spin. From ICE capturing innocents for Thoughtcrime all the way through to DOGE doing...well, just DOGEing, Trump's Exec Orders dismantling all that is good and true about the USA. I thank &deity that I don't have to go there. It's one weird place.

What I will say is that I think Charlotte Edwards is the woman to take on England now.
Absolutely. Lauren Bell was a bloody terrible fielder five years ago, but she's worked on it. Still bats like Mo Abbas, but she has improved her all-round game. Each and every England player has to work on all aspects of her game. And I don't think that Jon Lewis is the right coach to do that.
