You don’t “collect Medicaid.” It’s not a fucking prize. It’s health insurance for people who would die without it. If you hate that, just say you’re fine with poor people dying.

Lawrence Duran and and Marianella Valera,from Miami, were co-owners of American Therapeutic Corporation. Duran was sentenced to 50 years, Valera to 35 years, in prison for defrauding Medicare of more than $205 million dollars, netting $87 million. Trump commuted both of their sentences on May 28th. Republicans pushing massive Medicaid cuts, claiming they're protecting it from "waste, fraud, and abuse". These are the type of people who are the real thieves, not the poor.

The cuts for people >$914,900 in income. Tax cut of $36,320. The lowest 20% in income <$28600 would see an average tax increase of $79!!!

Me too! Our daughter is 32 with autism, epilepsy and cognitive disabilities. She has worked part time, 3 hours a day for over 10 years. She will likely always live with us or extended family.
