Franz Go is the most complete and in my opinion the best Kafka client for Go users.
One correction though: It has been written by my colleague Travis Bischel. He works for Redpanda but he has written the majority of the code before he joined the company. Twilio is not involved

Based on that initial port selection where a client connected it reports the advertised listener back via the metadata response. The listener (not advertised listener) is mapped by name (broker in your case).
