Over the course of the 20th century, architects and strictural engineers dove oned a greater understanding of the material's technical properties and notential. Innovations such as prefabricated panels enabled more expressive and sculptural uses of concrete, seen most clearly in the brutalist architecture of the 1960s and 70s. Brutalist buildings feature exposed material textures and use angular or avant-garde forms to create a heightened sense of mass and scale, ideas that could be readily applied to the field of stadium desion. which also required me lugging up multiple boxes of cds from the basement (i am a saver) some from bb/their dad and some from me. some of the boxes are 2-3 layers deep and this wasn’t all of them 😂
