Because MAGA seeks to rebuild white supremacy and the patriarchy.

Crypto has more in common with pogs than gold or currency.

You're not just pointing out anything. You're pretending the naked fraud is something it isn't.

What's the difference? A nation assigning worth means something, and people with Ape portraits assigning worth is meaningless.

Fellas, if someone punches you in the nose are you escalating the situation by putting your fists up to defend yourself?

Capital writes headlines, capital sets style guides, capital determines how and why subjects are covered.

It's always capital.

It should not be a mystery, the richest people on the planet publicly and intentionally lined up behind Trump to show their support. That support extends to media.

They did respond. It wasn't delivered to you.

How you get your news dictates what news you receive.

Maybe they don't, maybe they do. I will know when they do an assessment of their effectiveness.

They are an obstruction that forces drivers to slow down or at least navigate carefully. It is difficulty for me to believe they would have no impact on speed; that seems counterintuitive but could be.

Immediately after turning off a main street, how fast are you taking these corners? Bike lanes, parking lanes, cars, kids, dogs. There could be anything on the road right after turning off a main street, if you're at risk of hitting those things you're traveling too fast for the visibility.

I like that these barrier make less of an accommodation for cars than speed humps do. We need to be much more explicate about designing our roadways in a way that doesn't offer supremacy to motor vehicles.
January 24, 2025 at 10:21 PM
These barriers are cost effective. Way way cheaper than speed humps or raised crosswalks. Obviously raised crosswalks are better, but you can deploy a hundred of these barriers in a weekend at a fractional cost per intersection.

I wish her the best with that.

Moving in privileged circles is being privileged. Being the Governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England is privileged.

Being privileged doesn't mean he doesn't work hard, didn't earn it, isn't kind or isn't honest. But it means he cannot understand regular Canadians.
January 24, 2025 at 5:45 PM
I'll grant that kid from NWT wasn't privileged, but he's lived a whole life since then. If you're saying a man that was a Goldman Sach's Executive Director at 30, 30 years ago, somehow isn't privileged you're off your rocker.

He is one of the most privileged people in the country.

It was my opinion, based on my perspective, and you're the asshole for acting like I don't get to hold it.

You didn't make an effort to understand, you just called me ignorant like a fucking buffoon.

I prefer his music, I guess that means I don't read.

Someone come get their cousin, he's drunk and trying to fight strangers in the parking lot.

Politics isn't a team sport. I was in this thread defending Carney's roll in the carbon tax. I am the opposition in your mind alone.

Grow up, get out of your bubble.
