If there's anything I learned from looking at the games industry this past year, it's that there is a concerningly large group of gamers who would gladly accept authoritarian policies if it meant their graphics cards were cheaper, or that they could pirate Nintendo games.

Every time I see Nvidia or AMD making deals with the US president I feel weird. To me it reeks of him trying to get gamers on board (or keep them on board) with far right ideals .

The fact that as soon as Andor finished up we got a bunch of AI slop (AI Darth Vader in Fortnite + this) is really sad. Like they knew this stuff would hurt their marketing, and so waited until after their show ended to release it.

Writing the final paper of my associates degree at 2 am 🫠. It is most certainly going to be one of the papers of all time, but I didn't use AI on it at least.

I'm betting that once we get a switch 2 emulator, the "piracy is morally correct" folks are going to become the loud minority again.
So preemptively:
I don't care if you pirate, emulation is legal and useful, and I don't think it really hurts Nintendo.
I just think you're annoying.
