the timeline I think it's what bothers me the least. I didn't enjoy the first two eps, but the third one is a bit better I think.

AFAIK the director said it's not canon and it's an what if scenario. something like what if the nostromo got back to earth with the xenomorph

it's a matter of: you need more funds to finish the game? you need people to test it, report bugs and give feedback? would it be beneficial to the development?
since your game is a niche game, I think it wouldn't be an issue. do it when you feel comfortable.
