That said, even bigotry can be unlearned. I think that's where folks like you and I come in. We can help people let go of that hate. Someone did it for me! And, as much as I hate it, it will require patience and grace.

I'm not saying court bigots. I'm saying it's not a good idea to call LITERALLY EVERYONE who voted for Trump a "dumb motherfucker." I agree the number of horrible people isn't insignificant, but neither is the number of folks who don't feel that way. We've gotta win over the latter.

I'm not trying to be self-righteous. I vent, too! And when I do, I have to remind myself that my enemy isn't other working-class folks. It's hard, but I think it's worth it in the end.

As for unifying people, do you think this is doing that? I think it will unify like-minded people. But, I don't believe this attitude, which is being fomented inside an echo chamber, is going to help unify EVERYONE. In fact, I think it further divides us, which is exactly what the rich folks want.
