...and the tree of La Cabane des Robinson definitely needs some fertilizer.

I guess I would never have read so much of Jules Verne (maybe wouldn't have known him at all?) if he hadn't been present so much at DLP in the old days. 🚀🌝

I agree, it's actually drifting into arbitrariness. One reason for me to cancel it was that it's just too much, erasing what made Disney (and things in general if you get too much of it) special. Being showered with content, no matter the quality (Star Wars!). Yet, Disney should be the opposite...

So nobody realized that this time AI turned the weathervane mariner on top of the lighthouse into a black mass? What a pathetic display. I mean, seriously, is that what Imagineering has become? It's a disgrace!

IMHO this overlay is over the top. I'd prefer the original Main Street.

Other Disneylands have Cars Land, we got car park.

Probably there's a Premier Access way through the site.

My guess is they'd rather replace it with some really fitting IP like, I dunno, Buzz Lightyear.

I was also wondering if they turned down the audio's volume in the queue or if it was just the fact that in the past you could hear it better since it was usually rather empty back then. With many people chatting, I basically had to closely listen to hear my beloved pirates vibes.

That's what I also thought last time. Yet, it must have been really frightening especially for children, entering the really dark cave from the outside and basically being blind for a couple of seconds since the contrast was that big 😅 It definitely slowed down crowd movement 😜

That's why I usually don't mind queuing a little bit - it's already part of the attraction 🙂

It would definitely fit Adventureland-yet it'd be difficult to fit in, since there's no more space in the African area 😬 Contrary to the popular opinion, I also like the Indian(a Jones) area. The return of SM would be a dream...and finally bring back at least some coherent theme to Discoveryland.

There's definitely enough room for more rides, yet I can happily do without a flying swing based on UP kind of attraction. Real Disney quality? Sure! But right now I'm afraid open space would be wasted for some random and generic fair ride.
August 19, 2025 at 3:37 PM
Based on the recent development of the company I'm not sure if I want Disneyland Parc spoiled with some random additional IP ride 😅
August 19, 2025 at 3:20 PM
The Silver Spur Steakhouse spoon doesn't include any IP - a glitch in the Matrix?
August 19, 2025 at 3:18 PM
Grab a Fanta and a Kiri for just 49€ before you enter the park!
August 13, 2025 at 4:40 PM
As if they would care about theme coherence. It's IP, so let's force as much as possible into it.
August 11, 2025 at 11:35 AM
I'm not sure if it was you @cafefantasia.bsky.social, but didn't you quote Tim Delaney on the importance of water in theme parks once? The only water you get in the Studios are the puddles on the concrete when it rains. Yes, they'll get the lake, but that won't fix the overall problem this park has.
August 8, 2025 at 11:25 PM
This park keeps being a patchwork of some cool attractions that are fun to ride, but suffer from the lack of theming / being integrated into an overall land.

That gold nugget though 😫
July 30, 2025 at 9:22 PM
That's the reason I usually refrain from watching the nighttime shows - I just can't bear with the people (what a paradox thing to say at a theme park). It's just way too crowded, and waiting forever to in the end watch the show around a child on shoulders or through peoples' smartphones is just 🤮
July 10, 2025 at 11:21 PM
What would you consider the top three themed queues? I guess for me it would be PotC, Star Tours and ToT. Yet it's hard to not mention BTM or even Indiana Jones, since I prefer the theme more than Star Tours. ;)
July 5, 2025 at 1:26 PM
Maybe they still had a bit of material left. 😜
June 30, 2025 at 4:49 PM
There's also so much free space in this attraction, especially in the back right before the Cave of Wonders. That's why I don't get why they would replace a scene instead of just adding to the attraction.
