New footbridge opened this week at Štvanice island in Prague. It enables pedestrians to cross from Holešovice to Karlín. The final nail in the coffin of the old ferry service, but a worthy addition to the many bridges over the Vltava:

Managed to get tickets to the Prague IMAX presentation of Oppenheimer (the only such screening in mainland Europe) only to realize later that the date on which we're going - August 6 - is the anniversary of Hiroshima.
