I was using capcut before but the desktop version one on windows and it's way easier to use than shotcut, but web application is kinda disappointing

yeah linux has a lot of cool open source alternatives but people used to better apps that work as they expected to work. I have never tried bf6 because of the big steam price and I don't have a dualboot with windows, but I don't think people wont change their os just because of that single game

Instead of focusing on something (like x11 vs wayland) (pulseaudio vs pipewire) A lot of software doesn't work properly just because it was made for x11 so new users think that linux is too buggy and leaving the os instead of trying moving to x11 or trying more compatible with x11 wayland de/wm

3.5M is not such a big number + some of those users had problems even on their win 11 pc just because kernel anticheats suck. The real linux problem is not enough tools for creativity especially for video editing and another one is too much freedom, devs do a software for smth too old or too new

We already have a gpu-screen-recorder and updating the drivers via terminal but it looks pretty cool for newbies. I probably will not use it bc of bloat tho :P

I can name very few games with a kernel anti cheat and i have never played them more than half of an hour if even launched. The real linux problem is far from this
