As one who decided to do a meta detox this week I’m struggling with the lack of connection to friends i normally would “see on Facebook”. I note how ingrained fb is in my life, despite how much I want to hate it.

I’ve noticed that substack has a similar feel to fb, and that I’m strangely compelled to scroll through it. However, it’s sooo much less personal; given its history, that’s neither surprising nor disappointing to me.
