Something really satisfying about changing my own headlight bulbs in the Halfords car park, 2 bays over from a Halfords colleague fitting someone else's. He didn't realise I was racing him. I won.

Me after a rough day at work closing 16 tabs that are all variations of "reconfigure router" "changing IP addresses" "setting up networks for idiots"

About to spend the whole autumn touring and whilst excited for the new projects, slightly sad that I might miss out on my favourite season by being inside in the dark all the time 😂

Browsing the Fringe brochure and playing my favourite game of:

Is this site specific listing actually site specific or is it just:
A) outdoors
B) in a church
C) not in a traditional theatre
D) underground

(All of which are cool, just not necessarily site specific)

The sheer number of times I have applied/interviewed for a role and had to assume I haven't got it when the start date of the project passes.
Even worse I've had companies approach me asking for CV & A/V and then never hear despite promising to reply within a week.

Hey pals, take care and drink lots of water even if the temperature is "going down". Heatstroke sucks

Finishing school shows at lunchtime means a little wander around the village for me, complete with extraordinary vanilla milkshake. Brighstone is beautiful.

I haven't been working for the past 2 weeks and it has allowed me some gorgeous restful moments which were well needed. This was the highlight of yesterday.

Shout out to my 2 favourite companies: Black+Blum and Sennheiser, for making products to be long lasting & letting you buy replacement bits rather than having to buy the item all over again. Also they're really high quality & work super well for a busy Stage Manager. I am not sponsored (wish I was).

Had a great time at Hat Factory Arts in Luton with The Little Prince. Our first new venue and it was fab. Lovely audiences, and convenientally a plane workshop before hand!

Shut my finger in a door during yesterday's get outs. We don't have enough frozen peas in the house to cover this rate of injuries 😭

Back at the Egg with The Little Prince before we head off to Luton & Cambridge. It's a real treat to get to do this show again, it's magical every time.

Hello south west network. Chalk Line Theatre, who I have had the honour of working with and so can testify to their excellence, are bringing their new show to Bristol Old Vic in July. It would be foolish to miss it and I'll be there. You can join me and book too: bristololdvic.org.uk/whats-on/the...

Finished a get in, went to nearby pub thinking we were in time to still get food. Clearly looked so pathetic when they said the kitchen was closed that the guy at the bar offered to make us nachos "because you clearly needed them". Best nachos ever.
