Did somebody say Hell House LLC?!

GREAT found footage feature!
Seriously an underated gem.
I'm so glad I'm finding others who enjoy it as well.

Exactly. I would like to stress I DID like the movie overall. I think I need to just stop watching trailers 😂
Back to movie poster shopping I say!

I agree completely. I keep going over it in my head and I keep coming back to how it was marketed. The trailers were presenting "terrifying experience"
But this felt like more of a thoughtful, experimental thriller to me.

How was "Presense" for you?
I had mixed thoughts afterward 🤔

I believe in you!

😄 I see your point. I suppose I was a little more lenient because I respect that they were both practical effects. I feel like we need to reward more directors that understand CGI is best used in conjunction with practical effects not instead of practical effects.

How'd you feel about the ending?

Agreed! That was very interesting and such an interesting element to play with. Like they literally can't understand one another.

Itchy arm and chewed off ankle were two of my favorites.

I don't think it was bad. It certainly wasn't great. Interesting take on the formula though. Credit where credit is due, the body horror elements were pretty good overall.
Admittedly the creature design could have used a second pass.

So this is a STREAM IT movie. Wait for this to come to whatever platform you already subscribe to and watch it then.

A clever take on the classic haunted house story that doesn't take the good ideas it has, far enough. Add in a messy assembly and phoned in Lucy Liu performance and that's presense.

Sounds like a rule written by the complaint department.
