They only disallow it on AMD as far as I’m aware. 2.1 with Nvidia still works because you have to download the drivers yourself. Has to do with AMD being open source. The commission believes making it open source will allow for vulnerabilities.

I think the lack of 2.1 has to do with the HDMI commission (whatever it’s called) preventing AMD from shipping the open source drivers for it on Linux. I was hoping that Valve could find a way around that. It’s the last thing preventing my Linux PC from being perfect.

I literally did the exact thing earlier today. With no way to upgrade to the deluxe edition, might as well wait longer.

I voted for this and didn’t know I was following the person who designed it! I don’t use GS, but if they do the design justice, I may have to learn. Wish we could get more than one design per contest. There was definitely some stiff competition.

I was put under for my wisdom tooth operation. Being put under is great (in general)! I wish I could be put under whenever I wanted. You just magically wake up on the other side of the operation and you can more easily go home and sleep.

It would have made the launch far better if a bunch of the old switch games were uncapped and ran really well. I would have loved to try doom eternal or crysis but increased consistency isn’t enough to make 30fps a good play experience when the other consoles are right there (and steam deck)

I spend more than 5 minutes a day here, but it’s way easier to get off of. The moment I see something I’ve already seen I know I’ve hit the end of the new stuff and can get out.

Yup. Exact same thing happened to me. By that point the game was kinda wearing out it’s welcome. I was disappointed at how rigid the choices and alternate missions were.

When you say “retail sale model” are you talking about selling games in stores, or selling them digitally? Even if cloud gaming was a 1:1 experience with local gaming, I’d have to imagine they’d make way less money on cloud services than they would just selling games.

Like, what are you going to do? Threaten to destroy the economy lol? Importing stuff without paying tariffs is the only relevant act of disobedience for this situation, and no one has that power. The only way change occurs is with a well timed Luigi.

If we’re talking about things which will make Trump afraid, I don’t think civil disobedience or disruptive protests will change anything either, and there’s a chance it gets people bagged or shot. It’s a big ask. I think the protests are more for awareness than change.

You might as well get the numbers up to raise awareness for people who live under rocks or aren’t already indoctrinated at how unpopular his policies are.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t see any way that sacking his property doesn’t give him the ability to just have cops open fire on people while he’s in a bunker, which seems like something he’s always itching to do. And I don’t see how any nonviolent protest makes him afraid.

I like how the pink highlights all the little details. I tried to use bronze as like a primary color and never got it to look right.

I think if you’re lucky enough to live with your parents for a few years out of college and have a decent paying tech job ($90k/year-ish), and you don’t have debt from college, you could probably pull this off.

What I would have given to have that wisdom at my age. All my cards were in a binder, but I reorganized the entire binder whenever I got a good new card and used my finger nails to grab the cards out, so they all got pretty worn from that process. Top loaders would have been a godsend.

Potentially. It’s entirely up to you. I just might not give them to 10 year olds or whatever. I like my sentimental cards graded just so I don’t have to worry about further damage, but you can always crack the case further on, you’d just be wasting $25 or however much it cost to grade.
