Watched ‘Rear Window’ (1954) at the pictures last night: it’s one of my favourite films and I’d forgotten how comedic it is. I used to live in a courtyard block of flats and would regularly sit and watch the goings on: no murders though!

It turns out that some Ladybird book artists also designed railway posters for British Railways - here’s two examples on display from Ronald Lampitt advertising Harlech Castle (1959) and the Yorkshire Dales (1961).
