Fiyero. FIIIYEROooo! Jonathan Bailey gave his all for what little he had and raised his art of yearning to a higher level. And yes I blushed under his intense gaze 😭

But I wish his transformation was shown

Cynthia’s Elphaba is still unmatched. Cynthia brought the character to life in such a profound way, poured so much heart and soul into her

The same with Ariana and her Glinda. She convinced me to really care about the character

Just two witches in love in a dystopian world. Oh Gelphie, you are handprints on my heart 😭

I’m still warming up to the new songs but they weren’t out of place

They could’ve added new scenes to flesh out the characters and their arcs, fix the problems Act 2 has. Additional scenes were definitely needed to bridge some gaps 😭

This probably doesn’t matter to some fans, but this is a movie, a different story format, and it would confuse a lot of people who haven’t seen the musical on stage. Even I was baffled at times with the fast scenes, plot holes and little character development

the movie suffers from the quick pacing, constant scene jumps and the underdevelopment of characters and relationships, even their story arcs. We know Act 2 of the musical is the weakest and they didn’t do anything to improve it? They had a great opportunity, the room, to do so
