Over the last fortnight high pressure has been dominant, providing us with very settled and sunny weather.
Over the weekend this high pressure weakens, bringing in unsettled weather from the Atlantic, and much needed rain for some!

Brrrrr… feeling chilly? 🥶
Data from the Met Office @metoffice.bsky.social shows that January 2025 was between 0.4C and 1.5C below the 1991–2020 average temperature for the whole of the UK.❄️🧊
The last time the UK saw a colder than average January was back in 2021, the coldest since 2010!
