The flipside of that, he may try to use the "scandal" of the art being released to deflect blame & say "the story is spoiled now I can't put it out" either way you take a hit, either eay its a nasty pickle

I was saying that because Im sure if he is a friend on some level you may feel loyalty or not want to step on his toes, its admirable
But, showing the art protects you from any blame about the project not coming out, which i wouldn't be surprised if he does later
