Yes, I think either the ruined castle above Castrojeriz or the spacious mesa across the valley from it will be ideal. The Moon's shadow will darken the far away mountains to the northwest and then come racing across the plain. In August there it is almost sure to be clear skies (and hot!)

That's the best lunar photo I've seen in a long time: it looks like a string of pearls, the light hitting the smaller craters like that.
