From a business perspective, it was bound to happen sooner or later. I would have preferred to see no price increase with that drastic of a drop to 1TB, or at the least 5TB with the modest increase.

OK, your description refreshed my memory. I had a programming issue in Java, and you're right, the meta data was getting wiped out, but just on iPhones for me. I didn't realize that about compression. Thanks for the info!

Just curious, did it happen with images from certain devices, like iPhones, or it always happened? I had a similar orientation issue, but it only seemed to happen when uploaded from iPhones.

We started last weekend. My wife LOVES the holidays and starts putting up trees (yes, plural) all over the house starting in November, so Christmas music is must during the decorating.
