It takes time to make content, and a ton of creators already accepted moving off the app, it's not easy to gearshift back so suddenly.
We just have not had enough time at all to reasonably compare now to even a couple days ago.

Yuuuup. There's certainly a weird feeling, but as I put it on another post: "There's a line between awareness and paranoia, and people are leaping over it".

I have no idea what this will do or cause if much of anything, but the visible shift in what the average YouTube shorts feed looks like could be interesting to say the least

Add to that the fact that most tiktok users are making the choice to permanently leave anything Facebook related means YouTube (made to compete with tiktok, but kinda became it's own thing) is likely about to get hit with a wave of content that's much more similar to a normal tiktok FYP

Instagram and Facebook short form is usually just the most generic but tiktoks months late, YouTube shorts is largely short form videos that are intended to direct you to a longer video.

YouTube shorts was, like many of the other short form video additions to existing platforms, created primarily to compete with tiktok. However the way they went about it caused shorts to very much become it's own thing.

former premiere pro user and now avid DaVinci user, can vouch it is SO good. Somewhat recently got the full version but even the free version is excellent

This is where I've been at lately, script writing has been such an exciting time that I have five different videos scripted out because I'd rather keep writing than actually stop and edit the first XD
