In true blue Maryland my vote wasn’t as necessary, but I was very motivated personally to vote against authoritarianism, misogyny, racism, general cruelty, etc. and for a candidate who aligned more with my values and could have been the first female president.

My guess is that they are cisgender, heterosexual white people (more men than women) who couldn’t get enthusiastic about voting for a Black, South-Asian American woman and figured they’d be physically and financially safe under a
Trump authoritarian regime.

What specific demographic voted for Biden and then decided not to vote in 2024? Genuine question with less than thorough answer in article.

I’m guessing cisgender heterosexual white people.

And what about voter suppression and foreign interference? Are we pretending they didn’t impact the outcome?

Are we really standing strong and being guardrails? We should all be peacefully protesting that our MoCs are ignoring the fact that he is constitutionally barred from being president. Ask your MoCs to object to DT’s electoral votes #14thNow nowmarch.org

Even if you think they won’t do it, I encourage everyone to contact your MOCs and urge them to reject Trump’s electoral votes on Jan. 6 based on the 14th Amendment, Section 3. It is true and right. Learn more at nowmarch.org/jan-3-day-of... #14thNow
