We are a diverse coalition shining a spotlight on the ways this Supreme Court is impacting our families, our communities, our freedoms, and our democracy.
It’s not just about Trump.

Roberts built a court that expects presidents to break the law — and protects them when they do.

What happened to checks and balances?
November 21, 2025 at 8:56 PM
A Trump-appointed judge blocked Texas’ racial gerrymander.

Read that again. Even he said it went too far.

Now Trump’s MAGA-packed Supreme Court —led by John Roberts, who gutted the Voting Rights Act— gets to decide if it stands anyway.

This isn’t neutral. It’s engineered.
November 20, 2025 at 8:16 PM
Let’s stop pretending John Roberts is some moderate saving democracy.

He gutted voting rights. Greenlit gerrymandering. Shielded billionaires. And now he’s built a Court that rubber-stamps Trump’s every move.

This crisis didn’t appear overnight. It was designed.
November 20, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Republicans in Texas tried to draw five new GOP seats by slicing up Black and Latino communities.

A federal court said: Nope. That’s illegal racial gerrymandering.

Now they’re running to SCOTUS for backup.

This is about power—not representation.

SCOTUS gave ICE the green light to ignore the Constitution.

Non-criminal, contributing members of society are being hunted in broad daylight.
November 18, 2025 at 8:33 PM
97.4% of immigrants detained in Chicago had no criminal record.
They weren’t the “worst of the worst.”
They were daycare workers, landscapers, cab drivers.

The Roberts Court says that’s fine.
They greenlit racial profiling, and called it law.
November 17, 2025 at 8:00 PM
This case is terrifying.
Can the U.S. block asylum-seekers on the Mexican side of the border, and act like they never came?

The Trump admin says yes.
The 9th Circuit said no: that would “radically contract” asylum rights.

Now it’s up to SCOTUS.
We’ve seen this 6–3 movie before.
November 17, 2025 at 5:27 PM
We expect Trump to ignore the rules.
We expect him to abuse executive power.

But the Supreme Court is supposed to stop that.
Instead, they’re letting it happen—again and again.

That’s not checks and balances. That’s complicity.

The SNAP fight may be over—but never forget.

Trump was literally fighting in court to withhold food from families & veterans during a shutdown he caused—all while partying at Mar-a-Lago.

And the Roberts Court almost helped him do it.
Only Justice Jackson dissented.
November 14, 2025 at 6:49 PM
The SNAP stay got extended. But something unusual happened.

The order doesn’t say Justice Jackson referred it to the full Court.

That’s the tell.

It means Jackson not only dissented—she made sure no one mistook her for going along with it.

A quiet message with big implications.
November 13, 2025 at 9:44 PM
SCOTUS refused to stop Tremane Wood’s execution.

Even though the jury was rigged. Prosecutors lied. His lawyer was on cocaine. His brother confessed but only got life. Oklahoma’s pardon board said: spare him.

Only Justice Jackson dissented.
Let that sink in.
November 13, 2025 at 4:58 PM
If SCOTUS signs off on Trump’s National Guard argument, they won’t just be rewriting a law, they’ll be writing a blank check for any president to militarize policing in any city they choose.

Using the U.S. military against its own citizens is NOT public safety. That’s authoritarian drift.
November 12, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Trump isn’t just refusing to feed veterans — he’s dragging the Supreme Court into it.

He’s gone to them twice in one week to block food benefits that millions, including 1.2 million veterans, rely on.

He knows this Court serves him, not the people.
November 11, 2025 at 10:11 PM
This Veterans Day, 1.2 million veterans are being told:
“No food for you. Go ask a food bank.”

All because Donald Trump is blocking their SNAP benefits, the food assistance program that helps them survive.
November 11, 2025 at 7:07 PM
A Reagan-appointed judge just gave up his lifetime seat so he could speak freely about Trump.
His message? Trump is using the law for partisan purposes.

He says Trump is doing “overtly and routinely” what Nixon only dared to do in secret.
This isn’t politics. It's a warning.
November 10, 2025 at 9:12 PM
BREAKING:
The Supreme Court rejected Kim Davis’ attempt to overturn same-sex marriage.

But let’s be real — that decision hangs by a thread.
Roe was overturned. LGBTQ+ rights are still in the crosshairs.
Don’t get comfortable. Get organized.
November 10, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Disabled Americans. Veterans. Seniors. All rely on SNAP.

Two courts told Trump: you don’t get to starve people.

So Trump went running to the only institution corrupt enough to side with him: SCOTUS.

And like clockwork, they chose Trump over hungry families.

Shameful.
November 8, 2025 at 3:45 AM
🚨 SCOTUS just greenlit Trump’s rollback of trans rights—again.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson called it what it is:

“A pointless but painful perversion of our equitable discretion.”

Trans people deserve dignity. Not discrimination in their identity documents.
November 7, 2025 at 6:02 PM
Imagine needing to show your passport and knowing it outs you every time.

That it doesn’t reflect who you are. That the government forced it to lie.

That’s the reality this Court just upheld—for no reason except to have Trump’s back.
November 7, 2025 at 2:11 PM
Attorneys general in 25+ states are suing to keep SNAP alive.

Judges say Trump must release the funds.
But he’s heading to his MAGA Supreme Court to overrule them—and keep 40 million people in limbo.

This is calculated, intentional cruelty.
November 6, 2025 at 6:15 PM
Today SCOTUS hears the Trump tariffs case.

The question: Can a president impose massive tariffs by just saying “emergency”?

Even conservative groups say no. Cato, Goldwater, Chamber of Commerce, and 207 lawmakers are siding against Trump.
November 5, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Trump tried to federalize Illinois’s National Guard without consent, triggering an immediate court block.

His response?
Call his MAGA-majority Supreme Court: his favorite problem-solving hotline.

When you’ve packed the bench, the Constitution’s apparently just a suggestion.
November 4, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Rand Paul, Lisa Murkowski, Mitch McConnell & Susan Collins just voted to stop Trump’s tariffs.

But the Roberts Court may still give Trump the power to tax imports without Congress.

207 lawmakers, 31 former judges, and trade experts agree: IEEPA doesn’t give him taxing power.
November 4, 2025 at 5:24 PM
Trump just said ICE “hasn’t gone far enough.”

This comes after agents smashed car windows and tear-gassed families in a Chicago neighborhood.

And the MAGA-packed Supreme Court? Silent. Enabling. Complicit.
November 3, 2025 at 8:27 PM
Trump used a 1977 law to hit nearly every country with huge tariffs.
No congressional vote.
No trade law backing.

Now SCOTUS —who’s already sided with him 90% of the time— could bless it all.

This is what unchecked power looks like.
