25 years ago I tested the prenicious effects of broadcast regulation on speech. Even then companies protecting their broadcast licenses would self censor. Trump is simply supercharging an already flawed regime. Obsolete broadcast regulations are anathema to the 1st amendment.

Millions march across America to demand #NoKings.

Meanwhile, a one person deep line assembles to watch Trump's birthday parade in Washington DC.

Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day generates more enthusiasm than this pathetic show.

DEI causes errors!?! How can we allow such insanity to be repeated? Don't put all your eggs into one basket. Invest in a diverse portfolio. Innovation happens at the intersection of people, process, technology, and customers.

Diversity is key to economic and cultural vibrance.

I fervently hope the R budget games concerning disaster relief kick start a robust debate for secession. CA, the Northwest, and New England have far more in common with Canada than Missouri
Fun fact of the day: “California is literally subsidizing the rest of the United States, red states in particular, through the federal budget…
In 2022, CA paid $83 billion more to the federal govt than it got back.”

A policy disaster on a monumental scale. Warnings of our anemic housing construction appeared over 35 years ago, and if anything, the US has just taken a giant step away from productive remedies.
Federal Point-in-Time Homeless Count Was Highest on Record in 2024
The yearly nationwide census, based on data collected in January 2024, counted 771,480 people experiencing homelessness—up 18 percent from 2023.
