No one discounts protein based vaccines. The mRNA technology is an additional new tool. As far as I know it was the current administration who didn’t extend the license for Novavax.

I heard of Aedes Aegypti for the first time in one of the earliest #TwiV episodes @microbetv.bsky.social
It was a fascinating listen, mainly because Dickson Despommier talked about the mosquitoes and their history with such joy and enthusiasm. I miss him being on the podcast 💔

We not only have mail-in-voting, we get our ballot automatically mailed into our mailbox 😁 Thanks to our evil socialist government who knows where everyone lives. 🤣

Ich glaube es geht darum aufzuzeigen dass das Verhalten von Trump und GOP völlig normalisiert wurde, während an die Demokraten höchste Ansprüche gestellt werden.

I‘m sending you some rain from Switzerland ⛈️ This summer has been weird: It‘s either heat wave or rain for days. I‘m longing for some warmth!

I experienced depression once and looking back I would describe it as living in a completely different landscape with its own norms and customs.

Eve ate the apple and was the reason they had to leave Paradise. Of course women have to collectively suffer for that sin.

I’m heartbroken for all of you living in the US.
As a European, I‘m glad the NATO states finally decided to spend more on the military since the current administration has shown to not be a reliable partner anymore. Put(a)in, take note.

2/2 At home I suddenly became so dizzy I couldn’t hold myself upright + had excruciating headaches. They feared the worst in the ER, but luckily it was „just“ a TBI. I don’t remember much from the following two weeks.

1/2 This. Sometimes you don’t realize you are injured until later.
I was in a public transportation accident and several people were injured. Was sure I was fine, even informed the driver and told authorities what had happened. Was asked multiple times if I had any symptoms. Said no…

The weather forecast for next week predicts (heavy) rainfall for the Lötschen valley region. Great 🥴

Yet the media portray scientists as being alarmists when it‘s actually the contrary.
May 29, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Yes there was. They evacuated all the animals as well. Looks like they now evacuated people from Fafleralp, which is further down the Lötschen valley. Because all the roads are blocked.

I‘m Swiss and my heart hurts. This disaster shows that the Alps are changing rapidly and it’s heartbreaking to know that many of those magical places look so different from what my grandparents saw and experienced.

How cool are those names?! And look at this pile of fluff 😍

Ehhh vaccination rate in Italy for Measles is under 90% if I remember the WHO data correctly. But Covid vaccine rates should be better considering what happened in Bergamo.
