Democracy is defined as the Rule of the People there's no other definition. The people do not rule in any nation. Having politicians to "represent us" was legitimised to suit leaders but it is obviously the polar opposite of the People Ruling

Representative Democracy was never democracy, the hierachy at the time commandeered the concept since it was popular. Democracy has always been the Rule Of the People. Not via anything or by any representatives. They rule, end of story.

Standing up for democracy would actually entail standing up for the removal of the current system Democracy actually means "Rule Of The People" not demanding "Fairness in A corrupt system", America has never been a democracy and isnt likely to be any time soon.

Its pretty straightforward then... they need #DirectDemocracy

Fighting for real democracy would mean fighting for the removal of all our "representatives" that never represent us and instead fighting us to represent ourselves #DirectDemocracy

The US has never had democracy. Only authoritarianism.
