As others have pointed out, so odd that the tour doesn't include San Francisco, where they started out. Hopefully they'll add a date.

I have never seen that designation before. Does it mean what I think it does, that Isabella failed his physical? Doesn't that happen before he's signed? And while I'm here, what the heck does "waived with an injury designation" mean? Tnx

It's worth noting that Rogers will be a free agent at the end of the year, so there's nothing to stop the Giants from re-signing him. On the other hand, all three of the players received in return are under club control for many years, even Butto, the most experienced, won't be a FA until 2031.

Please, Buster, turn out the lights on Verlander. Figure on a classy exit that befits his accomplishments, but have one of the kids take his place in the rotation. It's gotten so that Verlander's starts are painful to watch.

I think you're paying too much attention to what's being said. Take a break. After all, it's NYC, which has a nearly unblemished record of electing mayors who are either crooks or creeps. What works there won't work in many other places, despite what the wonks and pundits are saying.
