Plants, music, sports, and Nashville stuff. Hoping we make this a healthier space for online community. #CFBluesky #ska #horrorsky #Fest23 #USATF
Pretty sure he’s fine. That slo-mo just looked pretty brutal.

Great find for desert mode!

Used to be signs there that said no parking 6am-6pm, I think… Probably still there, but I never saw it enforced.

If this gets any award show cut scenes, I hope they mostly center on this.

+1 for Halloweentown. So many memories watching that growing up!

If we are talking horror (broadly), I always recommend the Benson/Moorhead combo of Resolution (2012) and The Endless (2017).

A new find that I really enjoyed and isn’t too scary is Influencer (2022).

Recent international film: Exhuma (2024)

And for fun spin on haunted house: Deadstream (2022)

Any connection between 100 and 70 would be great! Old Hickory? Old Harding? Maybe we get that CHYM extension to Bellevue YMCA on 100 and make it a loop or something.

(2) CHYM included a route extension from Central to Bellevue YMCA, which doesn’t help you at all, but in the same map, I see where they have mapped sidewalks and proposed sidewalks along Harpeth View Dr and Willow Oak Dr, Old Harding and Learning Ln.

Great thread! Two things that might be of interest - (1) if Metro finishes the greenway connection at the soccer fields on Coley Davis (behind HD at the Ariza development), which really just needs to traverse the RR somehow, then you could cut off most of the route with a very nice bikeway.

And please - can we come up with a catchy name and some branding? The Music City Skybound? The BNA to Broadway? I want to get on this at the airport and be welcomed to Nashville on a loudspeaker by Dolly… or the Vice Mayor herself. I’m good with either.

Thanks for pointing this out and promoting! Even as I was writing, I was was thinking that if this bus ran every 15 minutes or even 30 minutes to where time table didn’t matter AND if it was promoted as the best way to/from BNA that it might be wildly popular. Heck - get it a bus lane somewhere!
October 7, 2025 at 12:23 AM
The existing 18 Airport bus route to BNA has the juice. Let’s get some good marketing around this thing and make it so good the tunnel - whether it happens or not - is just so inconsequential. Be good out there.

Okay. I’m just feeling like a WeGo advertisement now. It’s your city, do what you want, but don’t be afraid to try the bus. I have been thinking about the 18 Airport service since the boring tunnel announcement and I am glad to say from today’s experience that…

Anyway, I think this bus really shines for Nashville visitors, especially those heading to the Convention Center/Lower Broadway or connecting to wherever their accommodations are. Just getting into the urban core is still a huge value if they want to Uber on from there or connect to a different bus.

Don’t even have a bus stop near you? In that case, check out WeGo Link that provides a discount on Uber to get you from your bus deadzone to the nearest bus stop. www.wegotransit.com/ride/transit...
