I was impressed. Zephyr was one hell of a final girl, too!

I understand this on a deeply personal level. I have been known to yell at it to calm down, but so far, there have been few results.

This is the single most frustrating romance trope in existence. I was two books into a series and literally threw the second book across the room and never went back to it because two books in they still hadn't just had a conversation and solved the issue.

Sorry...I just needed to scream into the void for a moment. Had to get it out. I'm just so angry.

All they know is what their damned preacher has taught them for years upon years. They do what the parts of the Bible they deem worthy of modern consumption and impact says and forget the rest. They don't understand why I fled the church so long ago. They don't get any of it.

I want to, but I just haven't been strong enough to do it. I know I'm on the verge of cracking up, though, and something has got to give. They just don't get it. They don't think anything is wrong. They lack the ability to look at what they've done to me and my community and other minorities.

I mean, okay sexy twin serial killers...but the scene I have in my head right now makes even me go, "What is wrong with you?" LOL
