went for a walk early today in the rain and got to see the lovely urban goats again. this chonky one fully did the "oh lawd he coming" as it hustled up to the fence

when you've reported every shitty cypto & ai ad as malicious on tumblr, the remaing ads can get a bit absurd

(mini primer-these were just the 1st that popped into my head)
frankenstein by mary shelly (the original 1818 edition-vintage classic series) the illustrated dune by frank herbert fully issustrated in color & black & white by john schoenherr interview with the vampirea novel by anne rice (i read the same gold hardcover and my folks still have it at their place) the authoritive calvin and hobbes - a calvim and hobbes treasury by bill waterson i read this comic every day as it came out in the paper and this treasury until the pages fell out)

temple of doom remains my favorite indiana jones movie, even tho it's definitely not the best of the bunch, but most likely because of this struzan poster my dad bought & hung in our house since the mid 80's. drew struzan was truly the best to ever do it

while trying to stop endlessly scrolling, i've been digging into my "to read" pile of comics, and this page from tezuka's I.L. is really lovely

for the past few weeks i've gone past this mustang that some legend has been adding diy fender flares to, using at least 50lbs of bondo, all while it's street parked on interstate. so much redneck aura emanating off this project it feels like i'm back in ohio

one thing i hope died with summer is dudes in those ill fitting oversized shirts, extremely high wasted pants, and topped with this fucking haircut/mustache combo. the atrocious youth pastor vibes have been off the charts the last few months

the deer are completely unbothered in my folks backyard. deer come often enough, there is no need to cut the tiny patch of grass they still have

screen broke on my decade old 1st gen ipad pro last night. currently have a piece of duralar taped over the face so i can delete stuff & back up the contents without glass shards going everywhere
