So am I not the only one who just can’t watch a video on this platform?

Paul has been calling out this stuff for years? He made me feel sane in 2024 when the tech world turned to Trump.

Okay

Was speaking more broadly about the lefts reaction to Klein and abundance, and looks like someone else partially answered, but both of those screenshots would be people on the left. Or so it pretty clearly seems from their accounts.
December 29, 2025 at 7:46 PM
This is a nice microcosm of the left’s self destructive nature.

It isn’t convenient to admit that the last 10-15 years have been a pretty unbelievable economic boom for America.
December 20, 2025 at 10:46 PM
Let’s fix America like this plz

It’s interesting to think about what would “crash” in an AI bubble burst. OpenAI is private, and the FAANGs have established biz models to fall back on. Nvidia would be a big market problem, but it’s not like their pipeline completely dried up even if an OpenAI implodes.

Their deal is rev not profit share….on a business as unprofitable as OpenAI…dang

It definitely feels like we could use some healthy pullbacks. Even with today’s drop we’re up like 14% YTD, and man has it been a crazy year. If things stagnated from here until ‘26 I definitely wouldn’t be shocked.

Depends on how you define success, but the idea they don’t make companies more valuable is a bit ludicrous. They quite clearly do, on average.

What’s the 3 second counter to the point that if we didn’t have the filibuster then we’d have been legislated back to the stone ages with this admin?
November 11, 2025 at 10:17 PM
I’ve gone very back and forth on the filibuster. While it seems very dumb, it is also a bit of a buffer for our incredibly dumb politicians. Imagine how much insane shit would be passed in this admin without it.

Clearly doesn’t live in a hot environment

100%
October 4, 2025 at 2:37 AM
That seems not ideal
October 2, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Integrity is of course important, but I think Kleins point, and one I tend to agree with, is that winning is what matters. If you don’t win, then you’re not getting what you want.
October 1, 2025 at 11:47 PM
Or maybe rephrased: they are explicitly different types of journalists.
September 30, 2025 at 5:14 PM
I mean Klein is literally a political strategist journalist
September 30, 2025 at 5:13 PM
Yeah that’s fair. I think where I get frustrated with the bluesky crowd is acting like Klein doesn’t have the same end state in mind. I think he clearly does, but they just don’t agree on the path to get there.
September 30, 2025 at 4:18 PM
Even those stats aside, it sounds like you’re saying the right isn’t popular enough to warrant Kleins approach on coalition building, which seems clearly wrong because they won the election?
September 29, 2025 at 9:41 PM
On (1), what should he do differently? Not engage?

On (2) Trumps approval is ~43%, Obama’s 2nd term avg was 47%. Does that 4% really bring the conclusion that Trump is somehow not popular despite obliterating every R primary candidate? He’s popular enough to do anything and get uniform R support.
September 29, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Just listened. To me it came across as two people that don’t disagree with each other that much just saying two different points that can both be true. They just view their roles as writers differently.
September 29, 2025 at 4:13 PM
If Klein repeatedly saying the authoritarian regime is here and Rs don’t care at all to do anything about it isn’t skeptical of the right…idk what really is?
