The Nazis started w physically and mentally disabled, the LGBTQ, the Roma (Gypsies), political rivals (Communists and Socialists), etc. Then put the squeeze on intellectuals, artists, teachers, professors and scientists. The Jews were increasingly oppressed and persecuted. Unions were outlawed.

It all goes back to 2000, when Gore wasn’t pure enough for Nader and the Naderites. As a result, we got Roberts and Alito, two unnecessary wars, 9/11, the Katrina debacle and the worst recession in 70 yrs. Roberts and Alito have caused near irreparable damage to the country.

Our prisons are designed for punishment, not rehabilitation. The trend toward privatization is reducing the rehab mission of prisons. Private prisons exist for profit, stock buybacks, and Wall Street, not rehab or humane conditions.
