The least they could do was to at least move the action to some bigger city, or out of the fields, but nooo, they had to make the impression that the whole planet looks literally the same and the Jedi probably landed a stone's throw from future Bix's house.

Andor's writers made conscious and reasonable decision to make the galaxy a vast space.
AND OF COURSE mere weeks after S2 finale there is a comic book that just so happens to be on the same planet that Andor was taking place AND OF COURSE continuing the one planet = one biome nonsense ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ok I think that Baylan/Ahsoka duel was also nice.
Still, other recent productions like Mando, Kenobi, Acolyte were imo much better, saber-wise.

I just hope that fights choreography will be better this time. It was the most disappointing part for me in s1, which is a shame because the cast is definitely hyped for it.
Positive exception is the first duel between Shin and Sabine.. rest was just meh, especially compared to Acolyte choreography

This perfectly sums up my experience with every mutiplayer shooter in the past 7 years. I was able to play @fragpunk.bsky.social or the new COD for like 20 mins before uninstalling. Ironically enough, the only fps to hold me longer is currently Battlefront 2 that thrives while being technically dead

I can imagine now that the same amount of creative freedom to overwrite canon would be given to ppl working on High Republic movie/series. They would be eaten alive for ignoring novels. Rightfully so I think

Not sure how I feel about it. There is a reason why this set of rules exist. I was also a bit surprised by the double standards given when Tony Gilroy admitted to not consume any new Star Wars content while working on the script. Obviously the result is absolutely outstanding but tbc.

You'd have to elaborate for me to see what you're trying to convey. Meanwhile.. there were, are, and will be a lot of perfectionists in all fields of art and science, they will be POC, they will be white, and they would all be pissed that somebody wants to put them into 'white supremacy' bucket.

There are many great artists, engineers, and human beings who are perfectionists. I don't think drawing such connections makes sense, and it only polarize ppl against each other. You could say that white skin is a core characteristic of white supremacy. While factually correct, it doesn't matter.
