Had one of those nights last night where nothing quite went as planned, went out to watch the hockey game with the wife, it was cut off after the first period for trivia night, we somehow fandangled 3rd place and won a 6 pack of IPAs that's been expired for over a year. Still had good fun.

Finally watched K-Pop Demon Hunters last night. Wow did they nail that concept, that was awesome. Love it when a movie knows what it is and delivers on that.

When a game/collection/hobby becomes inaccessible to younger people, eventually that hobby dies off. I feel like Pokemon cards are going through this. Sure the games, Pokemon Go will continue to be accessible, but the cards have gotten to the point you can't even get them.

It's weird that this scene hits so much harder as an adult then as a kid (it was sad then too), maybe it's the real life examples we've experienced that make it so real.

My son who's a teen trying to make a go at higher level soccer has learned that when it's rainy the fields are usually empty so he can train more on those days. Smart!

After Whitecaps crazy emotional playoff win last night, and Goldeneyes emotional first ever win, game, etc. As well, both nights there in person, lots of crowds, excitement, great quality sports in all, I am spent and taking a lazy day today.

When your teen asks you to go see a movie with them you say yes. Today's movie was Now You See Me: Now You Don't. Having never seen any of them, it was fun. Not amazing, a bit scattered, but fun and had a decent sized audience in the theater which is rare these days. Perfect cheap Tuesday flick.

It doesn't look like much, but we generally keep a tupperware of snacking cheese in the fridge now and it's the best.

Saw 2 movies this past week, Chainsaw Man and Running Man. I'm liking the anime shows as films a lot, hope this trend continues. Running Man was silly fun, did D-Box which actually made it more fun (also freeish back massage). Powell was good, but he'll never have Arnold's screen presence.
