We've role played ordering coffee in France, and if AI projects can support Students as Responsible Innovators #FLT25

Feeling welcomed at my first #FLT25 @salforduni.bsky.social Learning and Teaching Enhancement Centre. PVC Carol Evans and APVC Jess Power setting out our path for next 5 years with Education Delivery Plan.
Warm and insightful keynote from Susan Orr, with lots of #blockteaching interest.

What a quote, shared by Natalie Brown (NTU NSAD), from a final year NTU marketing student as we think more about Educational Gain. How do we measure this type of impact... is it a mindset shift we're looking to capture, a potential for further growth?

Launching into #TILT2025 Day 2 with @drsbroadberry.bsky.social sharing CADQ's Scholarship Hub. A new resource developed by a whole range of colleagues across academic/professional services to support all those who teach and/or support learning in developing and contributing to scholarship.

Fab phrase from Alessi (Final Year on BAES), when responding to keynote prep around their 'start'..."Which start do you mean...I've had 3!"
So not only a fully European First year, but also recurring first year experienceS! #efye2025
May 27, 2025 at 9:24 AM
Yes it is...a multi-country delivery and locations across this new programme. So it has its own unique FYE...and we're hearing now from Aleksandra who is currently in year 1. #efye2025 #studentvoice
May 27, 2025 at 9:10 AM
One of the first 'truly European' FYE...Una Europa Bachelor programme?!
Drawing on consortium partnerships (HEIs not as islands but spanning borders)...looking forward to hearing about the development of this innovative programme, its building and delivery, and lived experience in practice #efye2025

Day 2 #efye2025 gets underway with presentations for me.
Great to see previous Award Winner @kathybradley.bsky.social welcoming/chairing the session, congratulating delegates for their early starts following a superb Welcome Drinks at Hal 5 last night!

Everybody is involved in education...a call to action that none of us are outside of this space.

Who has a 'Talent Vision' articulated for the organisation? One focus in keynote 1 #efye2025 is around strengths based approach. Push/develop the strength, rather than push/develop the deficiency.
May 26, 2025 at 12:24 PM
Educating for the future...a theme of the conference, and now Keynote 1 #efye2025.
How will we keep up with AI?
Changing curricular, couldn't keep up.
Changing tech, couldn't keep up.
Shift to the competencies, skills, autonomy, decision making.
May 26, 2025 at 12:18 PM
Day 1 about to get underway for #EFYE2025.

May 26, 2025 at 6:19 AM
...and when you reach the main 'base room' for #EFYE2025, there's a place to relax and take the weight off your feet.

Whilst the coffee was good...my wait for a tasty, if not slightly delayed, breakfast did not disappoint
May 25, 2025 at 9:59 AM
Early start for #efye2025 so thankful for some decent(ish) and fresh coffee on the 6am flight! Alive, awake and enthusiastic (as a previous colleague used to say). Let's get started @efye2025.bsky.social
May 25, 2025 at 8:39 AM
Where has the time gone? Hard to believe #EFYE2025 is <24hrs away...amazing work by local conference team, and input from International Committee means we're shaping up for an awesome time together.
Hoping we might gain some traction on BlueSky this year as well...who is on their way/final packing?!

Some great practical ideas in a whizz through of evaluation practices at #TASOCon25. Now hearing from Pete Crowson about a browser-based Theory of Change to help reduce workload as colleagues grapple with developing ToCs.
April 30, 2025 at 11:43 AM
First keynote Tim Soutphonmmasane (Oxford) straight out of the blocks linking current political events & their impact on ensuring accessible learning and education environments so all can achieve their potential.

Fantastic keynote from Steve Rutherford who, in sharing his own work on Personal Learning Networks, demonstrates how #PeerForum25 presenters align to wider work. Amazing way to build a community/belonging in today's Forum. Thanks for taking the time to do this. #PractisingWhatWePreach #Engagement
