Lover of all things wine🍷. UK - West Berks
Also like my dog (family great as well).
It could be that they just enjoy winding up their French and Italian chums?

Always a favourite for a summer afternoon……

About a month ago, I had an illuminating taxi ride; where I learned that our royal family hale from a violent Danish chap a long long time ago…
You’ve got to love a London Cabbie. This guy could have won Mastermind at a light trot.
I was almost happy to pay the £40 for a 3 mile ride….

Wow. That is news to me. Eels used to be everywhere!
95% reduction in 40 years in the UK….

I’m sure that you will have witnessed stranger things on London busses than an innocent cat just trying to get to work…

It isn’t just Google/AI.
I wittnessed a tasting where the “expert” tabled this as the first wine.
Nothing wrong with the wine, but not a patch on it’s big brother.
When this was pointed out afterwards. His response was “I can’t afford the first wine. This is close enough”.
Zero credibility.

Snap! 9 of those wines made my top Dozen! Particularly enjoyed this one.

Earlier today, I was at a cracking walk around, but was moving along next to a gentleman who had forgotten to shower.
I may may have been overly harsh on three or four wines before I realised that it wasn’t the wine….. the notes will be entertaining when I get to them tomorrow.

Will give them a try.
TBH, I was a little traumatised at seeing what I had considered to be the cheaper end of quality at such a sum.
Fvb, here we come!

Thanks guys. I’m prepping family dinner. Have just opened random bottle of wine to help the sauce along …
Let’s just say that the images conjured up are not aligned with enjoying a chilled glass of vino and a chilled cook!
Please tell me that this behaviour is confined to 🇫🇷 or Northern 🇮🇹 ?

Well worth a visit. I toon my teenage son and he was blown away by the scale of the works.
Powerful stuff!

It can work. A certain monk in Champagne would suggest that it can work….
This one. Less so…..

Yep. In the Douro, “500 yards away” could mean anything between a 2 minute walk and a 20 minute drive (complete with terrifying drops)…. Plenty of places to stop for a restorative glass of wine though!

Totally Would it be a bad thing if the drinker was aware that their £50+ California Cabernet has been given a helping hand from other varieties?
We might need to draw the line at Châteauneuf…..

Not just me then…..

While we are about it! Another vinous bridge!

If anyone has been to a Naked Wines portfolio tasting and been enthused, please let me know.
Maybe I just need guidance…

I’m still waiting for ‘22’s from a couple of smaller suppliers; so likely a two tier system of releases from the producers.
Although, I can’t work out why.
