The Silver Case feels like a fever dream that I have never seen anyone really dig into. It’s fascinating. It’s a complete mess. I loved it. And the sequel too.

Torches are now a functional and required part of dungeon exploration. In the dungeons I need to go debug.

I swear this game will eventually be something worth playing. Even if it's only to weirdos like me.

Landed on coding in torch usage. Which seems like a light enough project for the night.

I have opened my game project, and I am going to try to do at least one thing tonight. I don't feel like doing that much. I feel like climbing into the space beneath my desk and hiding until morning. But I'm going to try to write something into my game. I want to believe it will eventually matter.

Did a temporary title screen for the game, just in an effort to mark a line off on he to-do list for the proto.

Still somewhat on track to having this thing playable for a small, select group of people by the end of the year. It's going far better than I expected it would when I started.
