Also, just gonna mark my territory here in saying that I think Pikmin 4 is one of the best games I've ever played and was my EASY GOTY in 2023, a year stacked with GOTYs. Just wanna lay that out there cause I have started to see some "Pikmin 4 was bad actually" video essays and I will not partake

100%, I think the only portion that felt a little "What We're They Cooking?" was the Bitter Gavv arc. Suga was a great villain, i loved the break-up arc between Shouma and Hanto, we got Lakia (which is good all around), but the concept of Bitter Gavv felt a little awkward and very under-baked imo

Not to kick Gozyu while its down, but it definitely didn't even get to reap the benefits of a more consistent narrative so its kind of the worst of both worlds now
