I love coffeehouse culture! Wherever I go in the world, I try to find the coolest coffeehouses. I like both dives and upscale ones--I have no preference. Photo of my fave in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. If you know of a great one in any world city, let me know its name & place!

I used to walk past this building walking to the supermarket in Chania, Crete . . . It always reminded me of an Edward Hopper painting.

Linocuts by contemporary UK artist & printmaker Vanessa Lubach. I've made linocuts before and can't even imagine creating ones this intricate. Lubach is a true genius with her art form! #VanessaLubach #Linocuts
