It sounds like you want to develop your “ear” and understanding what notes or chords are being played in your head. My go to for theory lessons is active melody on YT. I’ve seen somewhere that says to sing the note as you play it to develop your ear. Let me know if you find any lessons that work!

Your welcome! Give yourself time / grace, I still can’t play alot of my favorite artists and acoustic guitar takes hand strength that takes time to build. My suggestions may not work either keep googling and you’ll find someone’s methods will resonate. Keep at it and play as much as possible.

I’m an intermediate guitarist and I have been playing for about 15 years. I’m on light duty for the next week and stuck on the couch….i always look for the easiest way to play any song. Triads are your friend.

Active melody youtube lessons have been a game changer for me. The music isn’t always my style and he talks a lot in the beginning of his videos. But it’s helped me with theory and understanding how things tie together. Ultimate Guitar is a good way to learn songs too.
