"Boring" characters can open the door to more interesting roleplay, I find! As much as I love the weird and wonderful, there's a lot to be said for playing a Human Fighter!
I'm a scientist by profession, so naturally my characters tend to be as far from that as possible 😅

That's good advice! Thanks! I like when class and species aren't typical matches. High elf barbarians, half-orc clerics, dwarven rogues, that kind of thing. My all-time favourite character was a goblin wizard. He was amazing. 😅
