music music music. I frequently enjoy hearing loss for the sake of joy. Saw Saint Motel, Adan Diaz, The Cab, All Time Low & The Paradox over the last week

Visited Guatemala for the first time. I love when a place makes me feel infinitesimally small. A place with lots of beauty and spirit. Saw family have moments, sat in a vehicle longer than I think I ever will again (my poor ass & knees). Saw things I never thought I would.

Haven't done a graphite full value drawing in a while. Challenged myself and drew a concert photo of mine of Omar Apollo. A few more touches to go.

My last small piece from last year. Need to work on some this year but the energy has not been there

Two of my older art instillations I did.
A large table sits center frame. Atop it is stone and dirt mound, piled with moss in places. In the center is a small pond. The water appears black. Floating above it is several lilies and lily pads made of metal, painted gold. One of the lily pads has matches atop it. The lily is designed as an incense holder. The body of the well is made of concrete that has been shaped and fixed with moss and other natural materials. The well has a dark bucket that is hanging near the top. Inside it is filled with pennies. Each penny is engraved with "return to sender" The roof of the well is bright red. The body of a well sits in the center of the frame. The well is installed in a gallery setting. At its base is dirt, leaves, peat and other materials. The body of the well is made of concrete and stone and covered in moss. The bucket of the well is lifted currently and is filled with pennies. Each penny is labeled "return to sender". The top of the well is not pictured.

An ink drawing I did last year. Eventually had my Tattoo artist help translate the idea into a sleeve for me.
A tree branch is illustrated in black ink. From it several different types of leaves and types of trees grow. They include Sequoia, Olive, Bristlecone Pine, Gingko and more. Some branches include pine cones, or chestnuts, or different bodies depending on the tree.

Gonna miss seeing as many live shows this year, some of my favorite shots from concerts last year.

Ink series I did for Valentine's trying to capture some pinup action.
