Sure would be nice if I didn't have to scroll past the history of the cookie, and the story of how the author was blown away by the first cookie Grandma ever made them, and how the recipe was first invented 14 generations ago in some third world country, and how flour was invented first...

In this case, I'd be fine with him fleeing. He'd have no choice but to disappear from public, which would be a net positive for humanity at large.
