When I joined it was strictly a trainer. Once the F18 was operational, they were flown out of Cold Lake by 419 squadron till their retirement in 95.
Yes on a quick google it was an operational plane, my mistake for saying that.

NDP is too far left to grab much in the way of votes these days, the party has been taken over by ideologists, more worried about pronouns than actual policy.
It is very possible someone like Rona Ambrose could come in and lead CPC to a win, they just need to purge some nuts first.

That was over 40 years ago and one of those the CF5 was a trainer.
Supply chains are a lot more integrated, today’s planes are a lot more advanced and two PMOs is also a big manning drain.
