I am looking forward to your new book. Yes, I pre-ordered a copy. I teach ethics at a college and enjoy your insights into how the world works. Much of ethics is simply being able to articulate what the problem is. Thanks for being a writer.

I saw Queen in 1982(ish). It was my first visit to Maple Leaf Gardens. He ran out on the stage in red leather pants and a frilly white shirt, tossing roses to the audience as they led off with Tie Your Mother Down. Good times.

Unfortunately, most of our Canadian investment vehicles are tied directly to the US... so things don't look any better here.

I would like to see Trump pass a civics or an English test.

He thought the S was Spain. This is the same guy who did not know where to find Aleppo. He would fail a grade 9 geography test.

You have millions of friends in Canada who love you and want to see the US safe, secure, and prosperous. Justice and democracy are a lot of work. Keep at it. We are struggling with it too.

I loved "Trust" by Hernan Diaz. It has a unique structure and tells a dramatic story from three different points of view. It is set in 1920-30's Wall Street but the message is pretty contemporary.
