5 days into our trip and oh well it’s still cold! 35 with wind in southern New Mexico but …. 55 this afternoon! Staying today at Bottomless Lake State Park 30 miles from Roswell. It’s good to be on the road. We are going to take a little 3 mile hike then read and chill the rest of the day.

First morning of our month long cleansing journey to the southwest. The best way I’ve found to calm the anxiety I feel from tyrants upending our world. This is a wet morning in Meramec State Park, Missouri. Nice. Quiet. Peaceful. On to Oklahoma. #thislandisyourland
