Can't comment on the arrangement since I'm not familiar with the original piece but that major chord and the chromatic descent is eyeroll inducing.

I know acapella tends towards just intonation but this is just egregious.

Sounds auto-tuned. Whether it is actually or not doesn’t matter. I want to get in there with melodyne and roughen it up.
